IMMI – diate results

Many, many thanks to the workforce of IMMI who kindly donated there time as part of their community program to come and work on the reserve. A group of 10 did some fine work painting the portacabin and putting clippings down. They all worked hard and made a great contribution, they even provided fish and chips, what stars.

Rewarding scrounge in Morpeth

Many thanks to Norman and crew (Morpeth Window Company) who are currently doing the refitting of the old Appleby bookshop. They allowed us in to take a load of stuff from the old shop. Tons of shelving, carpet, fire extinguishers, mirrors, and more.

The aftermath after I had scavenged the carpet tiles in Appleby.

Some of the booty collected from Applebys.

Pond Arosa

Thanks to a real excavator driver and a little help from my friends we now have Pond 1 up and running. We only got really going on Sunday so I am pleasantly surprised that we have a nice little pond by Tuesday.

Dynamic duo to the rescue

Steve and Matty made a difference today down on the reserve. We put in field drainage at the rear of the classroom, did a little landscaping, and made great strides with the smaller pond. Saved me a lot of hand digging, so useful to have a pro on the digger, well done Steve.โ€‹
