Many thanks for the kind donation of two squirrel nesting boxes, and delivered with such style:-

We have another group from the Prices Trust on the reserve at the moment. We have 10 youngsters and 2 supervisors working hard laying down some wood chip path. The weather finally beat us this afternoon and rain stopped play!

Well those pesky rodents will eat anything, I’ll have to stop leaving boots in hide 1 :-

Slaving over a portacabin base all day, ears still ringing from my session on the whacked plate!

A working party on the bank holiday Sunday certainly earned there BBQ. A great turnout of 25 barrowed their way through a mountain of wood chip. Must have completed over 100 metres of path. We also now have a base for Vera’s shed. Many thanks to all involved.

Thanks to my friends at MKM for delivering 8 bags of hardcore for the classroom base. Only another 32 tonnes needed and we’ll be sorted 😜

I’m proud to announce the birth of our first fawn of the season, looking fit and well and incredibly cute it arrived this morning.

Thanks to big sis and Bryan for helping me with the reserve entrance screen which went up yesterday.
